Description: Custom made yellow with wide brim wool hat by Rabbit Bay Creations
Our fedoras are made with Shepherd’s wool comes from the little town of East Jordan, Michigan. This location is a sheep to skein operation. The wool is100% worsted spun merino and felts beautifully.
We also use Peace Fleece (70% Wool & 30% Mohair). Peace Fleece is a cooperative yarn developed in 1985 between a Porter Maine sheep farmer and shepherds in Russia. This was a trade mission to foster peace between the our two countries. This yarn is heavier than merino and has a beautiful layer of mohair surrounding the wool.
“Diane’s Fine Fedoras” come in 3 different styles with several different brims.
The Amish Dress Hat has a 3 1/2" crown with flat top and comes in three sizes.
Medium-22 1/2" and Large-23 3/4" and Extra-Large 25”
The Downtowner is our most popular with a taller rounded crown and comes in medium- 22 1/2” and large 23 3/4”. This hat is generally embellished with a flower on the right or left side of the crown.
The Men's Fedora, Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby hats are favorites. Each has a 4 1/2” crown and comes in medium-23" and special order for large-24 1/2" and extra large 25 1/4".
Hats range in price from $60 to $85 depending on additional needle felting and embellishments. Shipping is extra.
